Yard News Tuesday 20th August – Recent Winners Back in Action

July was a great month for the yard, with 4 winners, and all of our winning horses hold entries again this week.

Toshima, twice a winner in July (flat and hurdles), goes to Kempton tomorrow evening for a 2 mile 0-85 handicap on the polytrack. He will be ridden again by Oisin Murphy, who won on him at Ffos Las 2 starts back.

Secondo, a winner last month at Chepstow, goes back to our local course on Thursday evening. He will be ridden by Darragh Keenan, claiming 5lb. Since his Chepstow win he has also run at Ffos Las, not disgraced in 4th with the race not run to suit him.

Street Jester, our Bath winner, holds an entry at Ffos Las on Friday.

Espresso Freddo ran well to finish 3rd at Beverley last week in an amateurs race where he was ridden by Craig Dowson. He goes to Goodwood for a similar race on Sunday. He’s in good form too and we hope he’ll go well again.
