Yard News Wednesday 10th July – Street Jester wins again!

It has been something of a frustrating week with some of the horses not running up to expectations. However Street Jester put a smile on everyone’s face on Wednesday evening with a nice win at Bath. Street Jester seems to like Bath, he won over course and distance back in September. This was a qualifier for the Bath Summer Stayers Series and he saw out the 1 mile 5 furlong trip well under a great ride from Josephine Gordon.

We were disappointed with Echo Du Large who ran in a Newton Abbot bumper on Friday. He’s a horse we really think a lot of but he spoiled his chance by racing too keenly. We’ll give him a break now before trying again, he has plenty of ability. Mere Anarchy will also now have a holiday, he has been on the go for a long time and despite not winning has been running consistently well so he deserves a break.

They will make way for Beltor and Final Destination who have both returned to the yard after their holidays.

Toshima didn’t run badly back on the flat at Sandown also on Friday. He could step up in trip. Racing club horse Secondo is entered at Chepstow on Friday evening. Our three time winner Push The Tempo is likely to run again next week too.
