Tomorrow Toshima returns to the scene of last week’s triumph, as one of only two runners in the Sky Sports Racing Virgin 535 Novices’ Hurdle at 4.30pm at Sedgefield.
He carries 6lb more than his rival Dounyapour (Dr Richard Newland), and it’s always tough for a novice to carry a double penalty. Dounypour looks like another nice horse too. But Toshima has more experience and won over course and distance a week ago. He is in good form, so you’ve got to have a go in a two horse race!
